Wrath(Mienna; Children of the Tiger)
In the dark of night, Mienna crept across the silent courtyard and went inside the palace's private temple. She headed for the altar, staring up at the golden statue of Kal Sharash the Fire Lord.
Her eyes narrowed, fists clenched. "Why?" she shouted. "Why did you have to take them from me? First you let Inhari be chosen by Kal Kiterr as his Chief Priestess and then you take Eladan from us? How could you be so cruel?" Hot tears leaked from her eyes. "Why them? Are you angry with me?"
The only answer from the Sky Lord was silence.
